We are excited to announce that preparations for KATALYST 2027 are underway! This annual event dedicated to undergraduate mentorship and leadership development in STEM will take place in February/March with the exact location to be determined soon. We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our organizing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain valuable event planning experience, and contribute to a meaningful cause that nurtures future leaders in STEM.
Make an Impact: Help shape an event that empowers and inspires future STEM leaders.
Develop Skills: Enhance your leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
Network: Connect with like-minded individuals, mentors, and industry professionals.
Experience: Gain hands-on experience in organizing a large-scale conference.
Less than 15 years post-undergraduate graduation at the time of application.
Availability to attend virtual organizer meetings leading up to the conference.
Willingness to dedicate time to planning, outreach, and event execution (estimated workload: ~2–5 hours/week, with increased workload closer to the conference).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Interest or prior experience in mentoring, event organization, or STEM-related community building (preferred but not required).
