I loved the mentorship sessions and being able to talk with Korean peers from all across the country, sharing experiences both similar and different. I loved being able to hear different perspectives on my own research and share my ideas with others for their research as well.
I liked that we could share ideas and gain insights from people of varying backgrounds. Hearing about the mentors' experiences opened new perspectives that I wouldn't have known otherwise.
The best part of Katalyst was the opportunity to connect with mentors. I was able to get constructive feedback on my career path and resume, especially during the mentorship sessions and the resume feedback session.
I enjoyed the implementation of the Project Ur Journey session: I saw it as an outlet for students to discuss and share their growth and experiences not just relating to their research and hard skills.
In a pre- and post-program survey, participants indicated that the following skillsets have increased before and after the event.
Katalyst 2024 invited mentors across various parts of post-graduate careers, including medical, computer science, business, mechanical engineering, and pharmaceutical industry. Mentors actively engaged with participants throughout the conference.
