🔹 Mentorship Session 1: Tech Ethics Showdown - Debate & Decide
As future leaders in science and engineering, we will face complex decisions where technology intersects with society, ethics, and policy. This debate competition helps develop these career-focused critical skills.
🔹 YG Group Leaders Session
Undergraduate officers from various YG groups will explore leadership approaches and chapter strategies through concise pitches, structured debate, and fast collaborative exercises.
🔹Poster Presentation: Sessions 1 and 2
Students will present posters detailing their professional development journey. Topics include research, internship experiences, and various passion topics.
🔹Project Ur Journey Pitch
In a three-minute pitch, presenters will share concise personal and professional stories that showcase how pivotal experiences have shaped their evolving professional identities while building communication, leadership, and peer inspiration skills.
🔹 Mentorship Session 2: Career Based Roundtable
Students will explore various careers through candid discussions of real career journeys, key decision points, and skills that matter, leaving with personalized insights and concrete next steps. Students will self-select into one of the three tracks:
Academia Track – Graduate school, postdoctoral research, and faculty careers.
Industry Track – Corporate R&D, startups, and career transitions.
Healthcare/Med Track – Medical school, healthcare careers, and related pathways.

🔹 Mentorship Session 3: Career Skills Workshop
A hands-on session designed to help participants strengthen their professional skills. They will rotate through different stations, including:
MD Applications – Guidance on medical school applications.
Grad School/PhD Applications – Insights on research programs and applications.
Resume & LinkedIn Reviews – Participants will bring physical copies of their resume/CV for mentor feedback.
Interview & Elevator Pitch Practice – Improving interview skills and personal branding.
